The Society was founded over 50 years ago to preserve and promote the history of the SECR, and its two constituent railways, the SER and LCDR.

We aim to bring together enthusiasts, historians, and those interested in modelling these historic railways and their successors.

The Society offers a wealth of resources including publications, meetings, a members-only website, and access to a wide membership of like-minded individuals.
